The nose is initially a bit dry with alcohol and dusty oak. As it opens, sweet and savory aromas of creamed corn, cinnamon stick, and butterscotch pudding arrive. It's all rather light for the proof. On the palate, things are a little more complex and richer with a generous, warming heat.
Simplicity is the name of the game with this bourbon, both in it's thin mouthfeel and simple flavors. Corn, oak, orange rinds, and light hints of green pepper are all present but none dominates the flavor profile. The finish is mellow with very little heat throughout. Vanilla, leather, and toasted oak are present.

Buffalo Trace is a solid bourbon that has good yet unremarkable flavors, but surprisingly is nicely fragrant aided by some of the rye-forward scents. While the flavors may not be overly complex, it has just enough intensity, character, and depth to be somewhat interesting and enjoyable to drink.

Dewar’s White Label has a delightful, medium bodied and smooth taste profile, handcrafted since its creation in 1899. The zingy citrus is assertive to taste upfront, but gives way to a rich bouquet of flavours including herbal juniper, juicy lingonberries, sweet liquorice, cardamom and hibiscus-like floral touches.
Clear. Juniper aromas with floral hints and a touch of musky rose, followed by a blanket of sweet orange, lime zest, and elderflower. Very classic Gin on the palate with flavors of angelica, coriander, juniper and orris root. A burst of citrus flavors seals the deal.
Bitter orange zest, fresh juniper an a slight hint of licorice and gentle spice behind it. It’s quite classic in profile with a lot of juniper fortifying it at first glance. When they speak of the specific method for getting the most out of their citrus, it’s fairly evident here that the work has paid off. The orange notes are the star.
Bombay Sapphire opens with a touch of juniper, a ripe citrus and hints of spice in the fragrance. The palate is exceptionally smooth and allows the botanicals to open up one by one and mix in the most lovely way with juniper slightly at the forefront. The finish is bolder but retains the spirit's brightness.
The Botanist Islay Dry Gin is adored for its mint, coriander, apple and botanicals flavor notes. This Gin is carefully distilled at Bruichladdich distillery, Islay.
Nose: Strong citrus note – lemon peel, bitter orange, light grapefruit. Delicate spice of coriander and clove at the midpoint. Sweet white fruits – pear, lychee, melon at the very end. Finish: Slight prickle on the back that the tongue of juniper and coriander that moves to a sweet orangery, lychee note.
Very subtle yet fresh aromas of grapefruit on the nose which leads to a great blend of juniper, vanilla and lime on the palate. Sightly sweet that creates a long lasting flavour and a hint of spice at the end.
Palate is softly earthy and gentle piney simultaneously brings together angelica, cardamom, lemon zest, sweet orange and juniper.
